Your blog entitled Helping students with disabilities is a very good topic for discussion. I am convinced that such technology is beneficial for these type students. I personally, have had the opportunity to observe a teacher using the Promethean board to instruct her students during her classroom instructional time. You are correct in your analysis that these boards offer teachers alternate ways to enhance their instruction and that they are giving students more exciting and creative ways to receive instruction. You are also correct in that; through the technological progress, students who weren’t able to participate in daily instructions are given the opportunity to embrace learning through alternate methods by way of the Promethean board. These learning devices are very effective in that they do seem to hold the attention of those students with disabilities as well. I have personally, witnessed this type of instruction being given to disabled students as well. The disabled students for which the instruction was being given seemed to have been captured by what was being taught to them as well being fascinated by such instruction. Almost, every student in the class was captivated by this new modern technology.
